ART BOX ceramics and canvas studio was established by Kristin Mitchell in 2017 to combine her passion for creating and teaching art.  ART BOX ceramics and canvas specializes in painting parties and classes on ceramics, canvas and clay.

Kristin Mitchell was born and raised in Charlotte, NC where she attended Providence Day School and UNC-Chapel Hill.  After graduation, she worked in new home sales, property management and the paint-your-own pottery industry before opening her art studio inside Eight Legs Gallery in downtown Waxhaw, North Carolina (about 20 minutes south of Charlotte).

Kristin's colorful and whimsical art is created to be approachable, joyful and teachable.  Everyone has an inner artist and can find relaxation, healing, connection and confidence through painting and pottery.
